About BikeHQ
Every bike event in Canada, on one free calendar, kept right by the people who run and ride them.
Why it exists
Finding a ride in Canada means checking a dozen websites. Each province has its own federation calendar. Gran fondos, cross races and charity rides sit on their organizers' sites, and some calendars are only pictures of a poster. If you are new to riding, you do not know where to look. If you have raced for years, you still open six tabs every spring.
I built BikeHQ to put it all in one place: one calendar for the whole country, where you find what is on, save it, and see it in your own calendar. I run it on my own, as a side project, because I want this to exist for riders here.
What you can do here
- Find events by province, month and type of riding.
- Sign in and press "Save to my calendar" on any event. Next year's dates follow on their own.
- Put your saved events in your calendar app through a private address.
- Fix a listing that is wrong, yourself, in a minute.
Where the facts come from
Once a week, BikeHQ reads the public event calendars of Cycling BC, Ontario Cycling, Manitoba Cycling, FQSC, Vélo NB and Cycling NS. It keeps the facts of each event: the name, the dates, the place, the type, the organizer and the organizer's link. The words on each page are written from those facts. Nothing is copied from an organizer's description, and no event is invented to fill a province.
Where a province's calendar is a picture or empty, the 2026 events were found by search, once. Each of those listings names where its date came from.
Keeping listings right
Organizers and riders can sign in and correct the dates, the place, the registration link, or mark an event cancelled. An organizer whose email matches the event's website counts as the organizer, and their corrections hold. A rider's correction holds until the source calendar changes. Every correction shows on the event page with who made it and when.
What it costs
Nothing. Reading the site is free, listing an event is free, and there are no ads. An upcoming event's page lists places to stay for the night before. Book one there and BikeHQ earns a commission; your price is the same. That is how the site pays for itself.

BikeHQ will keep growing, for Canadian riders and for the shops and makers who serve them. Reminders for the events you saved come next. After that, help finding good gear at Canadian shops, and the clubs near you.
